Single Taper Die

Wilson Tool applies the Protection Shoulder groove to the outside of all our dies. This design ensures that any burr caused by the Die Lock Screw will not score the die pocket.

Adding taper to a die can help minimize capping or delamination of tablets. The increased space at the opening of the die allows air to escape faster and creates a gentler decompression of the tablet during ejection. Single taper is most commonly used in micro tablets or in development of new tablets.
